To preface this extra long blog post: No rambling rule is getting thrown out, It is way too hard to type concisely whilst recapping 4+ months in just 2 paragraphs.

As most of you may know I tend to abandon this site for prolonged stretches of time, typically while I'm going through major real life issues; of which I was in abundance, While most of them aren't very pressing, Many are foundational ones that leave me incapable of doing most things my peers can with ease. While I have been making efforts to improve this doing much of anything while trying to consider further education is virtually an impossibility. I KNOW I said the rambling rule is gone, but I still want to spare you from my pity party.

Art has been pretty stagnant for the most part, I have lots of ideas but can't find much motivation to start or finish much of anything. Of course you can see all of my uploads since march but many things have been started and scrapped or just made for personal use since then. I've been thinking about posting a big dump of unfinished stuff but I just haven't felt like digging through year old FLAs just for some doodles I probably already have screenshots of somewhere, I don't know; Check back in a day or two and maybe I'd changed my mind by then.

Of course I've been making igbiam comics as well as updating the tumblr daily with older comics up to this point.

these are fucking hysterical to make, but simply aren't as fulfilling as what I feel my independent work could be. It's been long enough for the character redesigns I did when considering the comic last march are now outdated needing me to update them which causes even more stress and it all just compounds and then BOOM I burn out and don't draw for a month, It's so demotivating. I was drawing in flash the other day and it crashes twice, the second time after I'd already finished the entire thing, stuff like this really makes me want to quit sometimes. Of course I stay at it cause It's fun and I'd like to improve, but everything compounding and weighing down on me makes it much harder than it should be, Art probably helps me with everything If I'm being really honest.

That's kind of all I wanted to say for now, I'd plug my friend's album or plush but both of those campaigns ended already.. hm. ..

WHAT THE FUCK

It has NOT been almost 3 months since I posted here I refuse to believe it.

Where have I been?

Just doing alot of the same to be honest, You can see all of the activity on my Twitter and all the art I've been uploading, I've honestly been putting off writing another news post, it takes so much more effort than it should and often gets me upset due to all of the introspection, It doesn't help that I often write entire paragraphs only to scrap them later because I've changed my mind in the 5 minutes since I finishing it.

What'cha Been Up To?

In the past few months I've gotten a new bed and a desk which is pretty cool, I'm still not entirely used to the desk, but the bed is really nice.

Been playing lots of Pizza Tower lately, absolutely worth the $20.

I've also looked into writing HTML over break, and made a little site for myself, I have lots of cool ideas for it but I don't want to over-exert myself again, so that's likely going to be a summer thing.

I've been broadening my music horizons a bit as well, still nerd shit, just not vgm. I had a friend (formally) introduce me to Renard a couple days ago (it first popped up in my yt feed), and the entire Because Maybe! album has been lodged into my brain since, I've also been listening to edgy vocaloid music Despite not knowing what virtually any of the lyrics mean, it still sounds great.

All of this shit is so old, yet it still calls to me, perhaps I was born too late?

I'm also making a silly comic with 2 friends. It's nothing that impressive, and we just do it for fun, but that doesn't stop us from always laughing our asses off at it. Though I still want to make my own comic about my ocs, that'd be Its own thing separate from IGBIAM.

I've tried to write this several times and it always started to ramble, I will keep it consise this time.

The past year was incredibly difficult and I'm still recovering from alot of it, I'm still trying my best to make art for myself and for the people that have decided to look.

I've been brainstorming off and on about several projects that I've hesitated talking abou,t due to my tendency to not finish projects and then abandon them.

making a couple of short comics featuring my characters is probably the most feasible and I've even done a few rough concepts, if anything comes of it I'll absolutely share it.

I don't have much else to say at the moment, I'll continue to upload as the year goes on, albeit slowly.

Shits been really complicated recently and I don't wana get super into it cause most of it is personal business, art is probably gonna be slow for real this time cause actual non therapy school is starting to pick back up again and I'm gonna have to bust my ass to catch up and i am NOT looking forward to it

I've gained 15 MORE FOLLWOERS since I last started keeping track and that's fuckin amazing to me, I never would have imagined so many people would want to see my stupid lil animal drawings it genuinely makes me so happy.

As a gift to yall, I was going to post a bunch of semi old stuff I haven't publicly shown off before but where was barely any I actually liked, so I promise I'll do that eventually when i have more good stuff to include

Stuffs been slow for the past few days, dont expect much for like a week or two.

WOW I completely forgot to do something for my first anniversary, consider this a belated one I guess.

I'm not sure how to properly express my feelings about this experience but they've been exceptional.

I remember hearing form somebody (probably ninjamuffin99 or phantomarcade idk i know it was on ngp) that 1 Newgrounds follower is worth way more than 1 twitter follower at like a 100 to 1 ratio.

I can confirm this is absolutely true. Recognizing the few people that always vote 5 and favorite everything you submit brings such joy to me knowing people enjoy viewing the stuff i enjoy making, it's a great motivator!

So I've been working on funny characters for like 2 years and i actually wana do shit with them now.

The most feasible thing is probably comics, but im dogshit at writing stuff and don't know how to make backgrounds, I'll probably just have to practice before i actually start on it.
